This recipe brings you all the yummy goodness of a fresh baked, warm slice of banana bread without all the guilt! Yea thats right... you can enjoy all your favorite baked treats without all the sugar, gluten and dairy that can weigh you down or cause bloat. Okay... here it is... drumroll please.....
Ingredients: (makes one loaf)
Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees F. Grease a 7 by 3 inch loaf pan with coconut oil and dust with almond flour to prevent sticking. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda and sea salt. Then, in a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, coconut oil, and coconut sugar until combined and smooth. Then add 2 to 3 bananas into the bowl and stir in until smooth. Next, pour the wet ingredients into the almond flour mixture and mix until combined. Lastly, I added some cinnamon, crushed walnuts and 1/4 cup of ground flax for an extra healthy fat and protein punch! But this is up too you! When your batter is complete, pour into your load pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. You will know it is done when your tooth pick or fork comes out clean. Let it cool for an hour before slicing and enjoy! Yummy! xoxo
